Making An Appointment
Please call to schedule an appointment. Dr. Springer will speak with you on the phone and discuss your symptoms and concerns. If you do not reach him in person, please leave a message with a few potential times for him to call you back as Dr. Springer does not answer the phone when he is in session.
The first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which takes about 75-90 minutes. At the end of the evaluation, Dr. Springer will discuss treatment recommendations with you.
Your treatment will depend upon your particular needs and will include psychotherapy and possibly the prescription of medication. If there are medical issues, Dr. Springer will collaborate with other physicians as needed, and with your consent.
Dr. Springer believes that seeing a single clinician for your psychiatric treatment results in the best quality of care. As a result, he does not do medication management for patients in treatment with other therapists.
Follow-up appointments will be arranged and scheduled as needed.
Office hours are Monday through Friday by appointment.
Dr. Springer’s practice values your privacy.
Insurance/Payment

At least 24 hours advance notice is required if you need to cancel an appointment. Payment will be required for missed appointments, except for emergency situations.
